Custom ties, a touch of style in the office
Companies give employees, customers and suppliers custom ties. A selfless gift? Not exactly. Without a doubt, there is the desire to stand out from the rest with your own logo, to create a sense of belonging through the image and a touch of style in the office. The companies, however, point to something else: to an elegant, practical and effective form of marketing.
Employees in contact with the public wear it to represent the company. Customers and suppliers are a good channel for word of mouth advertising.
Custom ties in the office: a marketing partner
Clothing and accessories are the ideal tools to enhance the image of a company. Corporate gifts are the best opportunity to make the promotional strategy more effective.
Among the many gadgets included in the corporate gift packaging (cufflinks, pens, watches, etc.), personalized ties represent the most visible accessory, especially for employees who work in contact with the public (banks, business, commerce, etc.). They become an integral part of their work uniform, marketing allies capable of transmitting important values and messages of a company.
This ‘interested’ gift from companies serves to promote their brand inside or outside the office. Several companies don’t just give personalized ties with their own logo to employees and collaborators: often, they also give them to customers and suppliers for even more effective word of mouth.
Fabrics, sizes, colors
A prestigious company will certainly choose a pure silk fabric.
Alternatively, the company custom ties can be made of silk blend, polyester, linen / silk blend or wool / silk, cotton.
Pure or mixed silk is the most requested: it remains the most customizable fabric such as quality polyester. You can wear it on any occasion.
The width of the blade, as a rule, is 8-9 cm. For personalized ties, the brand that commissioned them can decide any detail, including dimensions. You can order thinner ties or choose, for example, the seven fold model.
For colors, there is little to rely on personal tastes: they are generally the same as the company logo, perhaps combined with a shade that enhances them.
Customization of ties: most common techniques
Each brand has its own tastes and needs according to which it can select from various tie personalization techniques.
The most popular techniques are:
- Stamp, printing technique obtained using a white silk fabric. The printing can be in ink jet (digital printing) or traditional by indelibly fixing the design on the fabric. It is a technique that allows you to obtain shades of colors and process colors otherwise impossible with the Jacquard technique;
- Jacquard (yarn-dyed), the most used system, which requires the use of a jacquard loom. With this system logos, writings and designs are recreated by intersecting threads of different colors (up to a maximum of 8). You can choose the jacquard of the tail characterized by the logo visible only on the back or on the tail;
- On lining, technique with which the logo is positioned on the lining of the tie (rear part). It can be made in yarn-dyed or printed;
- On loop, system that personalizes the loop or the label (back) of the tie. Obviously, for the visible front of the tie, you can choose any fabric or color. Also this technique can be made in yarn-dyed or printed.
Logo on the back or on the visible part? Subnode, all over or on the large blade of the tie? The last word is up to the brand.
